The Meceola Tech Corrections Academy, in partnership with the Michigan Sheriffs’ Coordinating and Training Council (MSCTC), provides comprehensive practical and technical instruction designed to prepare participants for employment as Corrections Officers. The program equips recruits with the required skills and credentials through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on field training. The curriculum is intentionally structured to develop the competencies necessary for successful entry into a Corrections Officer position. Full (100%) attendance is required for all academy modules.
