Emergency Medical Technician
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) This is a one - year dual enrollment program that is offered in partnership with West Shore Community College. This program prepares students to become an emergency medical responder that is capable of providing pre-hospital care in a variety of emergency situations. Students will engage in a combination of direct classroom instruction, asynchronous learning and laboratory skill checks. Students with EMT training may be employed with additional advanced training as a paramedic, fire services or may work in a hospital setting. Students that successfully complete this program will have the knowledge and skills to successfully complete the NREMT Exam and State Licensure. Please Note: This program has specific training requirements and required hours. Open to senior students.
